Meet Your Therapist

I’m Emily, founder of Emily Parkes Pelvic Health—a practice rooted in pelvic health expertise, trauma-informed care, and a deep respect for the body’s capacity to heal. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and advanced training in pelvic region assessment, chronic pain management, and psychologically informed techniques, I help clients reconnect with movement and reclaim meaningful activity.

My approach is gentle, evidence-based, and attuned to the whole person. Whether you're navigating postpartum recovery, persistent pain, or the complexities of pelvic dysfunction, I meet you where you are—with clear communication, compassionate support, and practical strategies that honor your lived experience.

Outside the clinic, I’m a parent, a lifelong learner, and a believer in sustainable healing—at home and in healthcare. I find joy in hiking quiet trails, swimming in local waters, and playing music with my family—moments that ground me and remind me why healing should feel whole. I love exploring health-related topics, from nervous system regulation to movement science and integrative wellness. Emily Parkes Pelvic Health is an extension of how I live: values-driven, curious, and rooted in the belief that movement, connection, and care belong in every season of life.
