Persistent Orthopedic Pain
Pelvic symptoms often presents alongside orthopedic pain.
In fact, once pelvic pain or other pelvic symptoms show up, there is often an orthopedic component at play. I treat both for optimal recovery.
Treatment Areas
-
Focused care for lower back pain, sacroiliac joint discomfort, and hip pain that helps reduce flare-ups, improve movement, and get you back to daily life.
-
Neck, shoulder, knee, and general lower‑extremity pain are also welcome and treated with the same gentle, evidence‑informed approach.
-
Support for pain that feels larger than the original injury and is often influenced by sleep, stress, and activity patterns.
How Does It Happen?
Overuse or a new injury —Everyday tasks or a single event can overload tissues and start pain.
Protective tightness — Muscles tighten to protect an area and then stay stiff, which limits movement.
Movement and posture habits — Small daily patterns add up and can overload joints.
Nervous system sensitivity — The body can keep sending strong pain signals even after tissues have healed.
Sleep, stress, and mood — Poor sleep and high stress make pain feel worse and slow recovery.
My Approach
Focused assessment — I look for the specific movement patterns and habits that keep your pain going so treatment targets what actually helps.
Kind, trauma‑informed care — I move at your pace, explain each step in plain language, and always get your permission before hands‑on work.
Hands‑on help plus practical movement — Gentle manual techniques ease stiffness while simple, progressive exercises rebuild strength and confidence.
Everyday skills that matter — Strategies to improve your everyday experience and practical ways to handle flare‑ups are built into your plan.

Insurance & Rates
I operate out-of-network to provide the highest quality care without restrictions.
PPO plans: Many PPO plans in CT offer out of network benefits, which means you may be eligible for partial reimbursement after you receive care.
HSA/FSA: Accepted.
HMO plans: These plans generally do not reimburse for out-of-network care, but many patients still choose to see me for the high-quality, specialized care I provide.
Accessible Care for All
I believe healing should be accessible. I offer sliding scale options for those navigating financial hardship or limited insurance coverage. If cost is a barrier, please reach out—I’m happy to explore flexible solutions together.
